Hello Yoke

I went to the Vancouver library and somehow pulled your book off the shelf and got really lucky to know that I connected with you. Your book permits me to go further into the craft of sourdoughs because it is illustrated and presented in such a way my appetite just grows along with the information that I need to become more able at dough making.

Like yourself, I went the route of exploring this world before settling down to baking my dreams. Yoke, you inspire me to explore the sourdough world when I have days off work. By the way, I’m a produce guy at an organic and natural food store by the name of ” Whole Foods ” that really supports the environment and earth saving issues. Take care for now,

Hi Yoke, I would just like to say thank you for your wonderful book wild sourdough, which I recently purchased.

Although I have been making yeasted bread on and off for some 20 years I only began to make sourdough in June this year and am really enjoying it, especially since discovering your book. Attached are a couple of photos of your delightful cranberry bread I made this afternoon, needless to say we enjoyed it immensely so thank you once again.

Yours sincerely, Lauraine, NSW

Hi Yoke,

Greetings to the bread guru! You may not remember me but I did your basic course mid last year – my friend Susanna and I came from the hills, and had a wonderful time in your kitchen. Hope all is well with you. Congratulations on being a published author – I am on the lookout for your book, now I know it’s out there. Thanks Yoke, bless your dear heart,

Hello Yoke, Guess what – all is OK. I have been fine ever since eating your breads. Hooray!! Hooray!!! I have eaten everything I brought home plus I made a fruit loaf and ordinary loaf and have eaten some of that as well. Not only the delight of being able to eat bread (real bread) without all the horrible side effects, I just love the essence of it all, the making of Organic Sourdough Bread. It brings joy to my soul and I congratulate you on all the work you must have done to get this far and for relaying your wonderful knowledge onto ordinary people like me. How come I have not heard of you before? I can only think it must be the right time now and to find you just down the road. (Usually everything/one is on the other side of the bridge). I will certainly tell my Wellbeing Doctor about this bread, next time I visit, as he has battled for ages trying to help me with my very sensitive stomach.

Thank you Thank you Thank you again and again,

Wishing you continued success in your Sourdough work.

Warmest regards, Moira, PERTH

Dear Yoke, I just wanted to say a huge and very sincere thank you for your sourdough class yesterday.

Firstly, your class was amazing; I learnt so much and my brain is now full of sourdough ideas and dreams – I’m baking my first loaves as I write.

Secondly, I think that from this point onwards my life is about to change in a big way, for the better. It had never occurred to me that I would be able to eat any type of bread again, and I do admit to being quite sceptical about being able to eat sourdough… since trying various types yesterday I have felt absolutely fine, which I still can’t really believe.

I cannot recommend your class highly enough (it was all I talked about today at work!), and I said to my partner when he picked me up yesterday, it was the best $100 I’ve ever spent in my life. I would love the opportunity to attend more of your classes, specifically your Christmas class, so please do keep me up to date with information.

Thank you so much again, and best wishes
