EASY techniques to create delicious sourdough croissant and pastries

croissants and pastriesIn this class, we will make the real sourdough croissants and pastries that are a pleasure to eat, easy to digest and don’t leave you feeling heavy and ill.

From the croissant dough we create plain, almond and chocolate croissants, cinnamon scrolls/escargots. Making delicious almond frangipane from scratch will also be covered in class.

The spelt/kamut pastry is so easy and we will make a savoury vegetable pastry for our lunch, followed with an authentic and scrumptious apple/pear tarte tatin.

This is a hands-on class. You will be surprised how easy it is to create authentic sourdough croissants in your own kitchen and you will make and take home your very own sourdough croissant dough.

Hi Yoke,

Thanks so much for today.  It was a fun day and I am keen to make more sourdough! I have baked my dough and my house smells delightful. A small, plain sourdough with sesame seeds – looks great! A larger one filled with WA organic walnuts (my husband buys them in 10kg bags from Manjimup and he has just planted his own trees) and dried apricots. The loaves are for a family lunch tomorrow, so the final and most important test will be cutting them and tasting them! Looking forward to making more.
